Sex-Free Advertising Policy

Our Lives is committed to delivering the highest level of integrity and devotion to the most positive aspects of the LGBTQA (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Questioning and Allied) Community, Our Lives and Life in the Middle Publishing will not print any advertisement promoting sex including, but not limited to: suggestive language, advertisements from businesses whose revenue is generated from sales and rentals of items related to sex-acts. Pictures, graphics or language that can be deemed as objectifying a person. Determination of this criteria is at the discretion of the editor.

Alcohol Advertising Policy

Our Lives does not accept alcohol ads.

Political Advertising Policy

Political Advertising is at the discretion of the publisher. Any political advertisement appearing in Our Lives does not constitute an endorsement by Our Lives, Life in the Middle Publishing, it’s owners, contractors, publishers, vendors, readers, advertisers, community groups or any entities associated therewith or appearing in Our Lives.

Anti-Discrimination in Advertising Policy

Our Lives, Life in the Middle Publishing, its editors, staff, publishers, personnel, contractors, vendors, advertisers or any other non-profit organization or community group affiliated with or appearing in Our Lives will not discriminate against Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgender Persons, Queer, Allied Persons or any other person of a legally-protected class. No advertisement appearing in Our Lives is intended to be discriminatory, defamatory, derogatory or otherwise demeaning in nature to any person.
