Charlene Carruthers: Movement Building for Queer Liberation

Charlene Carruthers is a Black, queer/lesbian feminist community organizer with over a decade of experience in racial justice, feminist and youth leadership development movement work. Her passion for developing young leaders to build capacity within marginalized communities has led her to work on immigrant rights, economic justice and civil rights campaigns nationwide. She currently serves as the national director of the Black Youth Project (BYP 100). As a transformational leader, she is helping us see our future is now.

Please join us for an evening of learning and discussion as Carruthers gives a lecture on What is the Queer Agenda? Movement Building towards Liberation in 2017 and Beyond.
