Celebrate Halloween and get in the spirit with our Trick or Trot 5K Walk/Run Oct 16th at the Capitol Square!
GSAFE hosts an annual fundraising event in the fall and this year we’ve decided to add a little extra magic. Our 5k for safe schools, formally the Walk/Run/Eat, has shape shifted into the Trick or Trot!
All participants receive a t-shirt, goodie bag and some halloween swag. Witches receive a purple shirt and a pointy witches hat, pumpkins receive an orange shirt and a green beanie, and black cats receive a black shirt and cat ears! There will be spooky music and candy trick or treat stations throughout the route.

There are two other ways to support the cause:
Become a superhero! Our superheroes have a long tradition of inspiring others to contribute to the mission of GSAFE by forming teams and raising funds. Bonus: Trick or Trot superheroes who raise at least $500 will receive a GSAFE hoodie to rock their superhero pride all year long and an outpouring of gratitude from the GSAFE community. Just select “Become a Fundraiser” when you register for the 5K.
Volunteer on the day of the event as a cheerleader, face painter or activity facilitator, court marshal, candy passer outer, or help us out with registration and other logistics. This is a great job for groups or organizations, so gather your crew and contact amber@gsafewi.org for more information.
