Arts + Literature Laboratory’s Queer Youth Book Club is a social group for LGBTQ+ youth ages 10-18. This free and donation-based club does more than just read together! Every week, teens and pre-teens gather to talk about life, make art projects, play games, laugh, and find community. This club is mentor-supported and youth-led; you might find the crew playing Dungeons & Dragons one week and defining healthy relationships the next. Community support allows the club to purchase books, materials, and very important snacks while cultivating the club’s underlying learning goals of self-determination, critical thinking, and sense of belonging for LGBTQ+ youth in our community.
