11 – 12:00pm March to Wisconsin Center (400 W Wisconsin Ave)
12 – 3:00pm Afternoon of action, fundraising, food, fellowship (400 W Wisconsin Ave)
The Women’s March is not just for women! The event is HIGHLY trans-inclusive and intersectional, with a focus on making the event accessible to all people who want to participate, including: trans people (trans issues and gender neutral bathrooms throughout); people with disabilities (live streaming for those who can’t be in the cold or stand for the rally, rides from rally site to Wisconsin Center).
The March is also looking for individuals to serve as anti-harassment liaisons, especially to prevent harassment against trans people and people of color. Connect with the march if you are interested in volunteering.
