Please join the Mad City Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at the statue of Lady Forward on Madison’s Capitol Square (at the head of State Street), for a candlelight vigil in honor of the Transgender Day of Remembrance on Wednesday, November 19th, 2014. It will take place immediately after the UW Campus Center’s Trans Monologues at Room of One’s Own — estimated start time is 8:00pm, but stay tuned for any updates.
Once the Monologues are through, we will process down to the Capitol Square with lit candles, for a annual reading of the names of trans* people who have been murdered worldwide, within the last year.
