MADISON, WI – Ten of the best roller derby teams in the world converge on Madison for three days of the hardest hitting, fastest skating roller derby action of the year when your Mad Rollin’ Dolls host (and compete in) the Division 1 Women’s Flat Track Derby Association Playoffs, September 23-25 at the Alliant Energy Center Coliseum!

Don’t miss a second of the action: games run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – with the top three finishing teams earning the right to compete at championships in Portland, OR this November!

Now in its 11th year of revolutionizing derby and taking the sport’s athleticism and competition to new heights, the International WFTDA Playoffs and Championships bring together the most talented, highly trained skaters and teams from WFTDA member leagues. 2016 marks the most internationally inclusive competition in the WFTDA’s history, with teams from the UK, Germany, Australia, Canada, Finland, Sweden, the United States, and Norway. Whether participating on the track, cheering in the stands or watching online, WFTDA tournaments provide everyone who loves roller derby an opportunity to witness the most anticipated match-ups of the year.

The following teams will be joining the Mad Rollin’ Dolls in Madison on Sept. 23-25 to compete for a spot at the WFTDA Championships in November. The top three teams from each of the four international D1 Playoffs will advance to Championships to compete for the sport’s highest honor: the Hydra trophy and the title of WFTDA Champions.
