Call for Directors – StageQ Queer Shorts 2.1

Are you an experienced director who always looks forward to the challenge of directing, but dreads the time commitment of a full length play?  Have you always dreamed of directing, but have never been afforded the opportunity?  Well… have we got the opportunity for you!

StageQ, Inc.  is seeking directors for our seasonal short play festival Queer Shorts 2.1 – Queer Love which runs February 10 – 18, 2017 on the Drury stage at the Bartell Theatre in Madison, WI.  Auditions will be held in December 2016 with rehearsals beginning shortly thereafter. Candidates must be available for auditions and rehearsals through opening weekend (rehearsals will be held Mon – Sat allowing one hour per play).

StageQ takes pride in being an inclusive, welcoming and supportive environment . Candidates with little or no directing experience may be paired with a more experienced mentor.
