We all know the classic musical theatre love songs: “Maria”. “On the Street Where You Live.” “Younger Than Springtime.” Popular tunes in collections that lead you to stare, dreamy eyed, at your significant other as you walk into the sunset.
This is not that.

Join us as MTM presents a hilarious evening of show tunes detailing the parts of love we forget about: Breakups, breakdowns, sexual troubles, the wild word of dating, and learning to settle for big problems like recreational methamphetamine use.

Whether you’re married, coupled, single or “it’s complicated”, this light, fun, and only slightly bitter concert is a great way to kick off your Valentine’s weekend, with a reminder that Hallmark and Rodgers & Hammerstein only tell part of the story.

Featuring songs from I Love You Because, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Avenue Q, The Wedding Singer, and more!

Performed by Chris Chalhoub, Jim Chiolino, Katie Davis, Mikhael Farah, Janine Gardner, Erin McConnell, Stephen Murray, Catie O’Donnell, Meghan Randolph, and Gregory Reed, with Caroline Moore on piano.
