Once again, we begin our 4-day, 300-mile adventure at Olbrich Park (in the area just beyond where Walter Street intersects Attwood Avenue). Please plan to arrive before 7:00 AM to greet and provide well wishes to this year’s riders and crew.
Opening ceremonies will begin At 7:00 AM in the staging area near the lake. You will be welcomed by Co-Chairs Josh Siedschlag and Christopher Henry and introduced to WKOW’s Christine Bellport, who is our Opening Ceremony emcee. After a short program — that will include remarks by ARCW staff, welcoming of Rider Zero, and an overview of Day One’s route – Christine will announce the opening of the route and bid riders and crew a safe journey as they embark on the first 65 miles of our 300 mile journey.
