Welcome to the Madison Wisconsin Feminist Bird Clubs’s September event! We are a bird watching club dedicated to promoting diversity in birding and providing a safe opportunity to connect with the natural world while fundraising to protect the rights of LGBTQIA+ folks, women, and people of color.
Whether you are just getting started birdwatching or have years of experience, all levels are welcome. Come explore Stricker’s Pond with us. Please message or email us if you need binoculars so we can provide you with some.
Our guides Erin Sauer, and Jenn Schneiderman will meet at the parking lot at Stricker’s Pond. We will be walking along the pond, up the boardwalk, and through some of the wooded areas around the park. We will begin birding promptly at 8:00 AM weather permitting, but feel free to stay as long as you would like.
If there is light rain we will still hold our walk, but in the event of thunderstorms we will cancel and notify you no later than Saturday evening, 9/14/19 at 6:00PM over Facebook.
