2018 Trick or Trot 5K Walk Run
Sunday, October 14th, 2018 at 1:00 PM!
Registration opens at 11:30 AM. Race starts at 1:00 PM.
The run will kick off at Franklin Elementary School (305 W Lakeside St, Madison, WI 53715), weaving through the Bay Creek Neighborhood, Quann Park, and Alliant Energy Center’s Willow Island.
The run will feature 3 trick or treat stations as well as a water station at the 2 mile mark. This run is not timed, but is a fun run in which all are welcome! We encourage you to bring children! Babies in strollers, as well as dogs on leashes, are welcome but we ask that you please start at the back of the race. There will be face-painting and a kids’ dash before the race!

STEP #1: Select your costume!
Are you a cat or a unicorn? The votes from past Trick or Trot participants are in, and this year’s selections are cat or unicorn! Cats get a black T-shirt and cat ears. Unicorns get a purple T-shirt and a unicorn horn. T-shirts are 100% cotton and long-sleeved, perfect for an early fall run! (After September 23rd we cannot guarantee a particular shirt style or size, but we’ll try our best to honor your request. Thanks in advance for being flexible!)
STEP #2: Invite your friends and family!
The Trick or Trot is best enjoyed with your friends, family, colleagues, and anyone who shares your support of GSAFE and its mission to create inclusive schools for LGBTQ+ youth across Wisconsin. Create a team and invite friends to join you on October 14th! Teams of 12 or more participants will receive a $5 refund per person after the 12th person registers. We can’t wait to see you and all your boos!
STEP #3: Become a Superhero!
Superheroes fundraise for the event! Click on “Become a Fundraiser” on the left side to find out more! Proceeds will go to GSAFE. Consider fundraising with your team– the more the scarier!
