Nonprofit Draft Day is a free, one-day event that connects nonprofit agencies with prospective board member talent.

Many local nonprofit board seats remain unfilled. The less time these agencies have to spend recruiting for their boards, the bigger impact they can make in the Madison community.

How does it work?

Nonprofit “scouts or representatives” are assigned a randomly-selected draft number. Recruits or board applicants will leave a business card with the nonprofits that match their values and interests. Selections are confirmed and draft picks for each nonprofit are announced in public and on stage.
