Queer Madison History and Game Night

December 12, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Join the UW Archives and the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center (GSCC) on Thursday, December 12th, 5 – 6:30pm at the Red Gym for an intergenerational evening of queer history, games, and creativity! Check out incredible magazines, vintage buttons, activist documents, and classic board games from Wisconsin’s LGBTQ+ Archives, make buttons and zines with found scanned historical materials, and meet folks of many ages in the Madison LGBTQ+ community. For one night only, you’ll even get a chance to play the raunchy, hilarious 1980’s classic “Gay Monopoly” and “Gay Trivia” board games, an exclusive part of the LGBTQ+ Archival collection. Come Celebrate a Madison Queer History with us!

This event is located in the Red Gym’s Gender and Sexuality Campus Center, 716 Langdon Street, on Thursday, December 12th from 5 – 6:30pm. Snacks will be provided, including vegan and gluten free options. This event is wheelchair accessible. All LGBTQ+ Madisonians are invited! Contact RNewman3@wisc.edu for any questions or concerns. Can’t wait to see you there!
