MADISON –  “Ignite Madison,” a forum for new ideas in Madison, this month focuses on “Social Good.’’ Ten speakers will deliver a five-minute, high-energy presentation on how Dane County’s non-profit and service leaders are making the region a better place to live and work.

Ignite Madison’s seventh event will feature Fireman Sam Yackel from the Fire Fighters Local 311, Madison’s Trinity UMC Pastor Breanna Illéné, Jeff Burkhart – Executive Director of Literacy Network of Dane County, and Maurice Cheeks – Director of the Wisconsin Innovation Network, among others.

The Ignite Madison event will be held Tuesday, September 22nd from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the High Noon Saloon. Tickets are $9 in advance at www.ignitemadison.org or $14 at the door. The event will be filmed and live-streamed by Hinckley Productions http://hinckleyproductions.com/live.  All proceeds from the evening support Madison Nonprofit Day, a volunteer driven collaborative supporting Madison’s social sector.  Learn more and purchase tickets for Madison Nonprofit Day at www.madisonnonprofitday.org.
