Among the many camps UW-Green Bay offers each summer is a new option for youth, grades 6 through 12. The Middle School Pride Camp is Sunday, July 28, 2019 through Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, and the High School Pride Camp is Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019 through Friday, Aug. 9, 2019. 

The five-day leadership training focuses on a new topic each day: personal integrity in leadership; enhancing family relationships; healthy friendships and relationships; community resources; and developing leadership skills and goals. Students will explore what interests and skills they may have for leadership, learn individual and team leadership skills and begin to learn how individuals lead by being the primary leader, or by supporting a leader and team with positive community purpose. Classes will be led by two instructors. Classes are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with scheduled evening activities to encourage socialization and new experiences. The classes will include individual journal and group work. Guest speakers will provide insights on community resources, individual coping skills and opportunities for youth to learn how to be positive leaders.
