MADISON -Ten local wedding and event-oriented business will hold a joint public showcase on Thursday, April 23, to allow the public to view and sample their wares, and better understand available services.

“People looking for help with a wedding or special event in Madison and Dane County have lots of choices about who to work with,” Fromagination owner Ken Monteleone said. “We want to let people know that locally owned businesses provide great service, work well together, and keep their dollars in the local community.”

The event will feature food and drink for catering, and samples of work from photographers, rental companies, specialty food carriers, event planners, and a hotel/event venue.

“It will be a relaxed opportunity for people to meet service providers, eat some great food, look over choices for their event, and get an idea of what sort of an experience they can create,” said Sarah Mullins, owner of A La Crate Rentals. “We are excited to work on this with other local businesses.”

The open house will take place from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 23 at Fromagination, located on the Capitol Square in downtown Madison at 12 S. Carroll Street.

The local businesses participating in the open house are:

A La Crate Vintage Rentals
Cherry Blossom Events
daffodil*parker
The Edgewater
Fromagination
